1. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging Stealth Dog Labs ("SDL," "we," "us," or "our") or using our website and services, you ("Client," "you") agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
SDL provides a private, individual-owned thinking and communication development system. Using your public language, we compute personalized specifications ("specs") describing patterns in your thinking, decision-making, and communication. We then build modules and run a recurring, human-in-the-loop feedback process — grounded in psycholinguistic research and our proprietary variable framework — to help you develop those patterns through your own daily work.
SDL is a development tool, not a static assessment, coaching product, or organizational reporting system.
3. Sovereignty of Your Data
This is central to our terms, not an afterthought:
- Your specs and module data are visible to you only. We do not provide employer, manager, or organizational dashboards or reporting of any kind.
- We do not sell your data, under any circumstance.
- We do not share your data with third parties except as strictly necessary to operate our business (e.g., payment processing) or as required by law.
- Upon termination of your engagement, we delete the data associated with your specs and modules, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You may request that your data be anonymized at any point during your engagement.
4. Engagement Structure and Payment
4.1 Engagement term. Standard SDL engagements run three (3) months from the effective start date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.2 Payment terms. Invoices are due net 30 from the invoice date unless otherwise specified in your engagement agreement.
4.3 Money-back guarantee. SDL offers a money-back guarantee under the terms specified at the time of your engagement. Contact christopher@stealthdog.com for details specific to your agreement.
4.4 Renewal. Engagements do not automatically renew unless explicitly agreed by both parties.
5. Client Responsibilities
To get value from SDL's process, you agree to:
- Participate in the biweekly human-in-the-loop feedback sessions in good faith
- Provide accurate information where you choose to voluntarily participate in the feedback loop
- Use the modules and outputs for your own individual development, not to circumvent these terms (e.g., not to build a competing product from your access)
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our IP. The SDL methodology, variable framework, algorithms, module designs, and underlying software remain the intellectual property of Stealth Dog Labs. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our methodology or technology to you.
6.2 Your data and outputs. The specs and personalized outputs generated for you are yours to use for your own personal and professional development. They are not shared, licensed, or repurposed by SDL for any other client or purpose.
7. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information disclosed during the engagement, except as required to perform the services or as required by law.
8. Disclaimers
SDL's services are provided for professional development purposes. We make no guarantee of specific business outcomes, promotions, revenue changes, or other results, as these depend on many factors outside our control. Our services are provided "as is" and "as available."
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stealth Dog Labs' total liability arising out of or related to your engagement will not exceed the amount you paid to SDL in the three (3) months preceding the claim. SDL will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the engagement in accordance with the terms of the specific engagement agreement. Upon termination, Section 3 (Sovereignty of Your Data) governs the deletion of your data.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be communicated to active clients directly.
